Guidelines
Join the session 5 to 10 minutes early.
Mute your microphone when not speaking.
When entering a session, please enter your first name and last name if prompted.
Be respectful of fellow participants. Do not interrupt speakers.
Avoid using all-caps as this may be interpreted as shouting. Use standard punctuation.
Keep comments in the chat window focused on the content being discussed.
Respect the privacy of communication within a session. Do not share the comments of your fellow learners.
Use the drawing and typing tools only when directed by the presenter.
If the session is being recorded, be aware that this may also include anything you type in the chat window or anything you say into the microphone during the session.
How to Prepare for Micro-teaching Sessions:
Review the instructions for preparing a micro-teaching lesson.
You will have time on October 24 to create your first micro-teaching lesson (a 15-minute online lesson. This Day 1 lesson plan template is available for you to use. You can download the file by selecting File > Download and choosing the format you'd like.
