Outside of my professional work in education, I prioritize staying active and maintaining balance through sports, fitness, and time with family. One of my main interests is golf, which I have played competitively in different stages of my life. I enjoy the challenge of the game—the mental focus, discipline, and ability to stay composed under pressure. Golf has always been more than just a hobby for me; it is something that reinforces patience, consistency, and the importance of mindset, all of which translate directly into my professional work as an educator and leader.
In addition to golf, I spend a significant amount of time in the gym and value fitness as part of my daily routine. Working out is important to me not only for physical health, but also for mental clarity and stress management. It provides structure outside of work and helps me stay disciplined and focused in all areas of life. I view fitness as a long-term commitment rather than a short-term goal, and it plays a key role in how I maintain energy and consistency throughout the school year.
I also enjoy being outdoors and spending quality time with my family whenever possible. Whether it is simple downtime, traveling locally, or just being present at home, those moments help me reset and stay grounded. Maintaining that balance between professional responsibility and personal life is something I value, as it directly impacts how I show up for students, staff, and school communities.
