Study of the eleventh chromosome
Sickle cell anemia is a genetic disease that affects hemoglobin, the oxygen transport molecule in the blood. Sickle cell anemia is caused by a single code letter change in the DNA. This in turn alters one of the amino acids in the hemoglobin protein. Valine sits in the position where glutamic acid should be. My question is why aren't more studies using metagenomics applied to the eleventh chromosome DNA which plays a major factor in Sickle cell anemia? Testing all the genes for bacteria, checking to see if the skin plays any role in the situation since the disease only happens in a specific race.
Metagenomics reveals sediment microbial community response to Deepwater Horizon oil spill.
This article was written in 2014 four years ago based on the disapperance of oil during the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in 2010. From the reading the oil created marine snow then disappeared, which later on was found at the bottom of the ocean.
My questions are what happens to the living organisms and the bottom feeders that lives at the bottom of the ocean?
Did their diet changed?
Did it effect something to their evolution as of today?

Metagenomics and the Deepwater Horizon oil Spill
Can our ecosystem get restored to its uninfected stage that is was prior to the Deepwater Horizon oil spill? How long will it take for the Gulf of Mexico to return to its normal state.
Iron deficiency anemia is a condition where the blood lacks enough healthy red blood cells to carry oxygen to the body tissues.
Without enough iron, your body cannot produce the required amount of red blood cells to carry the oxygen does more than . The lack of oxygen of an individual is more than feeling tired or being short of breath, it can also cause some of your organs to shut down. Mutations in the TMPRSS6 gene causes iron deficiency anemia. This gene provides instructions for many protein called matriptase-2 that helps regulate iron levels in the body.
What Metagenomics study can be done on the mutations in the TMPRSS6 gene that can maybe produce a resolution to Iron deficiency anemia?
Metagenomics and Biochemical Warfare
Are there any long term metagenomics studies on Agent Orange affect on today's vegetation, and gene mutation in its 2nd and 3rd generation from the original exposed person.
North Korea has launch many nuclear bombs into the ocean for scientific practice. America has launched their nuclear bombs for many years in and out of the country.
From the article " Nuclear explosions from the past are still causing cancer and health problems today," written by Kevin Loria, " From what researches can tell even people more than five hundred miles away from massive nuclear test have encountered enough radiation (due to weather blowing it in their direction) to increase cancer rates and permanently harm baies in utero."
