Microgreen project

Microgreens, recognised globally for their rich nutritional content, are edible seedlings packed with minerals, vitamins, essential fatty acids, and antioxidants. Their potential as functional foods is acknowledged, with a need for further exploration of their vitamin profiles. Technological advancements, such as adjusting light regimes and optimising drying techniques using suitable seed cultivars, can enhance their nutritional value. To make microgreens more consumer and market-friendly, it's crucial to focus on selecting varieties that contain specific vitamins, minerals, and nutrients.
