Handbell Compositions

The Jubilate Bells enjoy experimenting with new compositions. The group's director, Rob Cairns, has started to write and arrange music again and has written pieces for the ensemble. One is below and more are available on his website.

Kennedy Kimber-Johnson was a member of the Jubilate Bells for a number of years when she was the Organ Scholar at Metropolitan United Church. She was also studying composition at the University of Western Ontario at the time. Kennedy was commissioned by the Jubilate Bells to write a piece, A Singing People (2017), which was premiered at the Ontario Guild of English Handbells Ringers Festival.
