MESHIK, Nuevo Meshiko. Some of the most influential leaders of the continent have been touring the city lately, despite the obvious increase in the presence of law enforcement across the country. After the lively visit to Meshik last week of King Adem III of Perga and his representatives during the presentation of the new Sultana--and the announced planned visit of the Czervenikan leader, General Secretary Jana Lebedeva--important political events continue to unfold in the vigorous Nuevo Meshikan capital.
A meeting was held yesterday between the three heads of state of the nations of Krasniya, Hallorania and Nuevo Meshiko, reported to have taken place in a restaurant at the northeastern shores of the island, a member of Halloranian General-Admiral Serj Blakesley's security team has been granted permission by the Nuevo Meshikan President to visit Batorvideki President Ismail Attallah, who is still in custody of Nuevo Meshikan authorities.
Oddly enough, IUWS authorities have not issued complaints, formal or otherwise, about the detainment of the Batorvideki leader, nor have they complained of any kind of violation to his diplomatic immunity. There is much speculation to why this may be; the strongest rumors seem to suggest that Attallah may have had lost his immunity even before entering Nuevo Meshikan territory this week. President Andrews has declared he will give a formal speech on the matter of IUWS-Nuevo Meshikan relations later this weekend.
