MATO GROSSO, 10:55 AST. Amazonian Vice-President Lucila Oliveira has stunned the entire continent with a live announcement from the Coralto Palace at the South Eretzi nation’s capital.
The announcement came a short while after Euraziya confirmed their entry into Codeco.
The stern-looking official began by reiterating that the Amazonian government would “never recognize Cundinamarca as an independent state” and continued to describe the Codeco vote of independence recognition a “blatant illegality and a severe breach of national sovereignty that would not be without consequences.” Such public appearances are generally reserved for the Amazonian president, who has not commented on the matter from Los Sevastopol.
The Vice-President went on to say that it was time for Amazonia to look for “opportunities beyond Codeco,” perhaps implying that the nation intends to secede from the Council in the near future.
Around the same time, an announcement was published on the website of the Ministério das Relações Exteriores, the Amazonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which informed that the government of Luís Bernardo Silva had extended a formal invitation to the head of the Yuzanese state, President Lee Jae-ha, and his delegation, to a visit to the Coralto Palace to discuss “matters of mutual interest.” The nature of these matters was not specified. The invitation was delivered in person by the Amazonian ambassador to government offices in Pyongyan.
The full text of the invitation was made public and can be seen on the Amazonian Ministry of Foreign Affair’s website.
