MeseMoa. currently have 2 official fanclubs. The original fanclub M+ has been discontinued and is not accepting new members, while the new fanclub on Fanplus was opened on 25th November 2022.
Fanplus membership costs 660 yen per month and is automatically renewed until you cancel your membership. You can register from abroad and pay by card, although some people seem to have had difficulty with this depending on where their card was issued.
Members have access to the following benefits:
Exclusive fanclub ticket presales
Access to fanclub exclusive events and livestreams such as fan meetings and birthday events
A digital membership card
Exclusive videos and photos
An email from the members on your birthday
Those who are members of the original M+ will continue to receive membership benefits until their validity period ends. The fanclub will officially close in November 2023 when there will no longer be any valid members. Membership lasts for 13 months, so if you joined at any time in August 2022 for example, your membership will end on 31st August 2023. The site does not deliver overseas so you'll need to have registered an address in Japan where your benefits can be sent.
Members have access to the following benefits:
Exclusive fanclub ticket presales
4 special rewards each year - usually DVDs/Blu-rays and a handwritten birthday card from your favourite member
Access to fanclub exclusive events and livestreams such as fan meetings and birthday events
A membership card (to be shown as proof of membership when attending exclusive events.
An invite to an exclusive dinner party once a year
PLEASE NOTE: M+ membership does not automatically transfer to Fanplus. If you are already an M+ member but want to access the new content too, you will have to register with both fanclubs at the same time. You can access the fanclub ticket presales using either account, but you must only use one of them - no trying to boost your chances by applying with both accounts!
These are held at various locations across Japan on a number of days so as many fanclub members as possible can join in. The members serve food to the guests and provide entertainment during the meal such as games, karaoke, and quizzes. Dinner parties have not been held during the pandemic.
These are meet and greets on a bigger scale, where fans get to spend time doing activities with the members. Fan meetings within Japan often involve hiring a bus to travel to various locations such as theme parks. They have also held fan meetings in South Korea and Taiwan, where they hired out a hotel for several days. As well as sightseeing, craft activities and meals, there are usually extra photo sessions and a mini concert. It is common for fans to decorate their hotel rooms as the members may drop in to say hello.
