Elementary through pre-calculus. I don’t tutor calculus or AP math courses.
Please contact me personally for my rates.
I do online and face-to-face tutoring. When I meet with students in person, it is usually in my home. If you’d like a different meeting place, just let me know.
It’s actually quite simple. All you need is a high speed internet connection, a laptop or desktop computer, and a document camera. (I can recommend a good, affordable one.) COVID note for local students: I would be happy to loan you a document camera if you need one. The student and I will be able to see each other’s papers and/or textbooks while we are working together.
Most families opt for one-hour sessions, once a week. If a student is behind in class or below grade level, we may need to schedule more frequent sessions.
No, you can schedule as many or as few appointments as you wish.
Yes, but I can’t guarantee my availability if you try to schedule at the last minute.
Yes, that’s always an option. You’ll want to discuss that with your child ahead of time, though.
I recommend that you work with your child to agree to only one tutoring session. My experience is that after the first session, students are much more open to returning. You only need to schedule one week at a time with me. No long term commitment is required.
Yes, I’m available to tutor homeschoolers in elementary through pre-calculus math courses.
Additionally, I have had experience being the primary math teacher for high school math courses for homeschoolers.
