Before deciding to apply for membership at AIESEC in Strathmore, it is important to understand what will be expected of you, should you be successful in the applications, and assess your current commitments to decide if you will be able to consistently meet these expectations.
In a week, you will be expected to be available and actively participate in the following:
Weekly portfolio meetings (1–2 hours).
Weekly Member Seminar Series (MSS) from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Fridays.
Effectively complete tasks assigned to you by your respective Vice President/Team Leader in a quality and timely manner.
Additionally, you will be expected to:
Pay the annual membership fee of Ksh.1,000 before the end of the first quarter (30th April 2025).
Actively participate in onboarding and training as designed by your respective Vice President for your role.
Attend one-to-one meetings to discuss performance and personal development with your respective Vice President/Team Leader.
Actively participate in portfolio team days.
Attend and actively participate in events such as Team Building, Conferences, and Gala Dinner. The dates and prices for these will be communicated in advance to enable you to prepare for them.

To maintain your membership in AIESEC in Strathmore, you will be required to attain a belt (i.e., white, blue, and black belt) in accordance with our Membership Criteria, and improve on it during the year. Failure to do so will lead to probation and dismissal from the organization.
