The lab consisted of sixteen young people that worked with artists, designers and engineers to explore what Augmented Reality is and can be, and how it can impact our world. Documentation of the projects created during the Snap Lens Lab will be displayed alongside the The Arrival of a Train activation.

Quote:
"The traditional magic mirror is, after all, the result of ancient artisanal knowledge: this expertise covers techniques for microscopically adjusting the surface of a mirror so that encoded information can bypass casual inspection yet be revealed to those open to enlightenment.
Mirrors have long been thought to have magical properties, even to reveal the future. This bronze mirror literally sheds light on the future of us all – but you have to be willing to see it."

How does each individual delve into their inheritance, selfhood and overall identity? How does each of us see the relevance of such questioning? In what way can we cross-examine these structures and create new pathways of understanding?
The idea is not to create a set and finished proposition in our thinking. Especially when identity itself can change. As we all have a different way of seeing ourselves and our experiences are diverse, we are looking to catch a glimpse of each person’s uniqueness while finding overlapping and meeting points.
From collectives to poets, musicians to filmmakers, painters to performers, this exhibition presents POC artists examining multiple axis of community, culture, care and identity.
Includes performances, a poetry reading and music along with permanent works.

The magnetic field itself is a vector field with direction and strength (which can be understood as a flowing state of 'qi' in Eastern philosophy). Therefore, this series combines humans and nature, using one of the four fundamental forces in physics, the 'electromagnetic force', as a brush to create visual elements that record and preserve the flow of 'vector fields' that cannot be observed by the naked eye. Through the pursuit of the Eastern aesthetics of 'qi', it shows humanity's philosophical exploration of nature.
