Atmospheric Circulation

Good Morning! Today we are going to tackle the subject of Atmospheric Circulation. My lesson plan is outlined in the google slides presentation. In addition to this, students will complete a follow-along worksheet to ensure comprehension of the lesson. Students will also complete a latitude and longitude worksheet as bell work. We will finish off by visiting the CNN storm tracker website, where we will (as a class) point out where we see atmospheric patterns.

This is the CNN Storm Tracker that we will be visiting at the end of this lesson. Students can visit the website at home, and track storms all around the globe. Using what they have learned in class, students can match the cells they have seen in diagrams to real life atmospheric patterns.
