‘Veronica’ is a 20-minute solo that investigates the female performing body through explorations of agency, virtuosity, and bodily exposure. Drawing from performance traditions including circus, burlesque, and post-modern feminist dance, Veronica confronts the female body; sacred and profane, powerful and powerless, sexualized and taboo. Veronica evokes and destroys images of femininity, thereby creating space for laughter and rebellion. Performed at Arts on Site (NYC) Performance Party June 2018, The Living Room (ME) April 2018
