Welcome! My name is Megan McConologue, and I am a dedicated and passionate physical education professional committed to fostering lifelong movement skills, inclusivity, and advocacy in PE. Currently pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Physical Education at SUNY Cortland, I have immersed myself in hands-on teaching experiences, leadership roles, and professional development opportunities that have shaped my vision as an educator.
I am passionate about promoting physical activity and empowering children to lead active lives. All while learning essential social skills and learning to be better people. My goal is to educate students from kindergarten to 12th grade about the benefits of physical activity and the various ways they can incorporate it into their own lives.
Beyond my academic and professional commitments, I have a deep love for sports, outdoor adventures, and fitness. I grew up playing field hockey, which fueled my competitive spirit and appreciation for teamwork. Outside of structured sports, I find joy in hiking, rock climbing, yoga, and exploring nature, as I believe movement extends beyond the gymnasium and into the world around us.
I believe that movement is a form of self-expression, adventure, and personal growth. Whether it's on the field, in the classroom, or out on a mountain, my goal is to inspire others to find joy in being active and develop the confidence to explore their full potential. Thank you for visiting my e-portfolio. I look forward to sharing my journey with you!
