Megan Janzen's Portfolio

Hello! I'm Megan Janzen, a senior at Edmond North High School in  Oklahoma. Starting with Intro to Broadcast Journalism as a freshman and then in the Broadcast Journalism class for the next three years, I discovered a passion and talent that changed the course of my future. I have been swimming competitively for over 11 years and will continue my career at the University of Indianapolis in the fall of this year. At UIndy, I will major in Communications with an emphasis in Sports and Social Media and minor in Spanish Language and Culture. 

Balancing academics with being a captain on the high school swim team and a leader on my club swim team year-round isn't easy, but it is a high priority. After the fall semester, I was honored to be named one of the Valedictorians for the class of 2025. One of the core values of Husky Network is bringing positive energy to everything we produce. After going through some dark seasons in my personal life, I recognize the value of being a positive influence on my peers and younger students looking up to me.
