The focus of this brief was to use graphic design as a process, through using primary research, as a group. We did our project on the word ‘density’, and each chose 6 primary research methods to use in order to create this document. Once we’d collectively put this document together, as a group within class, we Riso printed it and created a booklet. The research methods I chose were a collage, a diary entry from 3 separate days, a visual journey, repeating sounds and ‘how many?’ of something. For the visual journey I took photos of the journey to get up to my chosen area through Endcliffe Park, to show the surroundings of the upper class area, and for ‘how many?’, I took a tally of the different vehicles I saw over a set amount of time on 3 different days. We then printed the document out using a Risograph printer and bound it together.
