Roll and Compare:
- Skill: Place value, greater than/less than
- Materials: Two-six Dice, writing surface and Pencil
- Directions: 1 or more Players 1.) Roll 2 (or more dice). Write the digit forming a number in the tens (2), hundreds (3), thousands (4), ten thousands (5), or hundred thousands (6). 2.) Roll again and repeat-write another number with the same number of digits. 3.) Compare, which number is larger? *Remember the alligator eats the larger number!
- Modifications: *Play with a partner, allowing each player to roll once per turn. Compare numbers and earn a point for the largest number. The player with the most points wins.

- Skill: Addition or Multiplication Facts, Greater than/Less than
- Directions: 2 Players 1.) Player 1 rolls 3 dice and keeps the highest number. 2.) Player 1 rerolls 2 dice and keeps the highest number. 3.) Player 1 Rerolls the 3rd dice and keeps the number. 4.) player 1 adds the digits together and records their score. 5.) Player 2 repeats the steps for their turn. 6.) The highest sum wins.
- Modifications: *To practice multiplication, players can multiply all three numbers and record the final products to compare. *Players can also add the first two digits and then multiply the 3rd.

- Skill: Place Value, Decimals
- Materials: Dice, Recording Sheet (Paper)
- Directions: 2+Players 1.) Determine how many places you are working on (2 lines-tens, 3 lines-hundreds, 4-hundreds, 5-thousands, 6-ten thousands) 2.) Decide if you are making a big number or a small number. 3.) Roll a dice and determine where to place the number. Once you write it, it can't be moved! 4.) Continue to roll the dice until each place has a digit in it. 5.) The player with the biggest or small number gets point-depending on what you are trying to make.
- Modifications: *Instead of whole numbers, use decimals, finding digits for the tenths, hundredths, and thousandths digits.

- Skill: Comparing Fractions (*extension: Adding/Subtracting/Multiplying/Dividing Fractions)
- Materials: Dice, Paper
- Directions: 1+ Players 1.) Each player rolls 2 dice. The smaller number goes on the top. 2) Players build their fractions and determine who has the larger fraction. If a player rolls two matching number, ex: 1 & 1, they automatically win the turn. 3.) Repeat to see who earns 10 points first.
- Extension: *Practice Adding, Subtracting, Multiplying, or Dividing fractions by using the two sets of fractions. The first player to solve the equation wins the point.

Skill: Area/Perimeter
Materials: Dice, Graph Paper, Colored pencils
Directions: 2+ Players 1.) Players take turns rolling 2 dice. 2.) Calculate either the area (length x width) or the perimeter (2length + 2width). 3.) Color in the area or perimeter on the graph paper. 4.) Continue to take turns, filling the space on the graph paper until there is no available space left. (Players may capture smaller areas/perimeter to add up to their total towards the end). 5.) The player that has captured the most area/perimeter is the winner.

- Skill: Rounding, Place Value, Comparing
- Materials: Dice, Paper
- Directions: 1+ Players Determine how many digits your number will be (tens, hundreds, etc.) 1.) Player(s) roll the dice and build the largest number they can. Ex: dice-2, 4, 6 =642. 2.) Round the number to the hundreds place. 3.) If playing with a partner, compare the numbers to determine whose is higher.
- Modifications: *Practice rounding to all of the place values each turn. *Instead of whole numbers, practice rounding decimals. *Practice with positive and negative numbers.
