Starting January 5, 2020 our new start time for Manila Creek 8th Ward Sunday Services will start at 12:00 Noon and go till 2:00 PM. Because we will be the last ward in the building for Sunday services then we will have assignments to put the chairs up and spot clean the building before we leave. Please do your part and what-ever classroom you are in please put the chairs up and pick up the room and also turn out the lights. Thank you for your help.
We're excited to announce that Elder Daniel S. Mehr II of the Seventy will be presiding at our upcoming stake conference on January 18th-19th, 2020. He will be joined by his wife, Sister Rebecca Mehr, a member of the Relief Society General Board. All sessions of the conference will be held in the Alpine Tabernacle.

New Year new you? Help is on the way! Come join us for our Stake Self-Reliance groups that will begin January 19th at 6:00 PM at the Mahogany Building Cultural Hall. All are welcome. The groups that will be focused on are:
"The Priesthood Power of Women." Featuring keynote speaker Barbara Morgan Gardner, Associate Professor of Church History & Doctrine at Brigham Young University. All men and youth 14+ are also invited to attend.
Stake members will be attending our Ward Conference held Sunday, February 9, 2020. Please prepare yourself spiritually by attending the temple this week to help get answers to your prayers.
Youth are invited to participate with President Dallin H. Oaks and his wife, Sister Kristen Oaks, which will be a follow-up on the new Children and Youth program.
Our Ward Primary Presidency has invited families with primary aged children to wave to their primary teachers and leaders from their own yards beginning at 11:00 AM Sunday morning.
End of school year "Soak the Bishopric" this Friday @ 10 AM. The bishopric will drive through the neighborhood! Be ready to soak them! Water balloons, super soakers, hoses...See you soon!
There will be a graduation car parade for all graduating seniors. It will happen May 29th at 7:30 pm. The route will be only on Canyon Heights Drive starting at our church building. You are all invited to be in your driveways ready to cheer for our Seniors. If you have a graduating senior meet in the church parking lot at 7:15 with your graduate and decorated cars. President Beeson has sent more of the details through email and Facebook. Please join us to congratulate our amazing group of Seniors.
