So, if you read the other two segments you should understand that while they might be different they aren't too different. The opposite type might not have any of the same letters but they do have the same cognitive functions just in reverse order. Shadow types on the other hand only change out the first and last letters but have all different cognitive functions but in the same order. Most different types are where you flip the first three letters but keep the last one. For this section, I will be using Intp and Esfp as examples. First, let's look at their cognitive functions.
An Intp's cognitive functions:
Driver: (Ti) Introverted Thinking (Accuracy)
Co-Pilot: (Ne) Extroverted Intuition (Exploration)
10yr old: (Si) Introverted Sensing (Memory)
3yr old: (Fe) Extroverted Feeling (Harmony)
An Esfp's cognitive functions:
Driver: (Se) Extroverted Sensing (Sensation)
Co-Pilot: (Fi) Introverted Feeling (Authenticity)
10yr old: (Te) Extroverted Thinking (Efficiency)
3yr old: (Ni) Introverted Intuition (Perspectives)
As you can see, they not only don't share any of the same cognitive functions but it also isn't even in the same order. And with this, the way they act and their temperments are very different. The most different types do better in a work relationship due to their ways of thinking about things. For the Esfp's and Intp's working together can be a good thing. Let's say they were working on a school project, the Esfp might want to make things emotionally important to them and are generally more spontainious in making descisions the Intp will make sure that it is also professional and accurate. Also, if it was a project in which they had to present something I am sure that the Esfp would love to do it for the Intp.
(I just realized that I used Intp twice but I am not going to change it)
