I'm Maximilian Doubleday, programming has been a passion of mine for close to a decade.
I specialise in C++ and Unreal Engine, however I find myself to be incredibly adaptable to different development environments and engines. I also have small bits of Lua skills.
As an AIE student i've made 3 game projects; Buff & Bones, Guardian Spirit - Protect Thy Mansion! and a VR Whack-A-Mole. I have also made smaller projects as part of this course, those being a dungeon generator plugin for UE5 and a simple physics game.
Outside of AIE, I started a Single-Player roguelike RPG in 2021 using the Roblox Studio engine, which was my first project I felt proud of. I am now following that up with a similar project made using UE5.
When it comes to programming, I find myself leaning more towards gameplay systems and UI, however I am by no means afraid to work on unfamiliar systems and mechanics.
