Lucy Sheppard hadn't been back to the small town of Ebenfalls in a long time, but still it didn't seem long enough since she'd set foot inside the black hole of terror that had been her childhood home.

The family run care home had closed its doors some time ago and her mother had spent her final months fading away inside the manor house walls. The large building and sprawling grounds have seen better days. A once proud beacon on the local map now lies in tatters as it begins to die and crumble.

For Lucy it is her last chance to try and lay to rest the past that has haunted her ever since she was a child as she returns back to Meadow Manor to oversee its long overdue burial. Quite how much of her memory is reliable of those times is up for debate, but what isn't are the nightmares that have shaped the woman she became.

But not everyone is happy to greet her return, there are those in town who would seek to warn her away, to force her out by any means necessary, however Lucy has been waiting for this day ever since she left as a teenager, a day for clarity and for bitter retribution. She has carried her pain and fear for far too long and it is finally time to face up to her past and drive a dagger through its blackened heart, that is if she can survive long enough to see the sun rise again.
