Submitting Coursework

Where:

• I provide in-depth details regarding all activities on Blackboard and also use the Announcements feature to elaborate on them. My goal is for all of you to understand and feel confident in completing activities. Questions are always welcome!

• All work must be submitted through Blackboard. There is an online location to complete every assignment you will be asked to do all semester.

How:

• Assignments must be submitted using Microsoft Word or Google Docs. I will always be specified in the instructions of the assignment.

• All of you have access to Microsoft 365 accounts on which you can convert and upload your documents. BMCC is committed to supporting digital equity, literacy, and 21st-century technology skills. We offer students like you digital tools and services to support their educational and career success. Access the “Software for Students” page on the BMCC webpage to claim your Microsoft 365 account and other useful software.

• If you need assistance doing this, I will be happy to walk you through converting and uploading your work.

• Big FYI- there is a way to submit every assignment and complete every activity for this course on your smartphone or tablet. If you don’t have a personal computer, don’t panic! I can work with you to get you up to speed!

• It goes without saying that everything you turn in must be typed.

• All written work should be submitted in MLA style format. For a review of MLA formatting check the Purdue OWL website.
