Hardvester is a metroidvania game ( first and third person ) developped with Unity.
As a fierce mercenary, you will accept contracts, even in the most dangerous place of the universe. In this game, get your best vehicule ready to explore the lava planet where you can harvest minerals and plants. With your rewards, enhance your car and venture out deeper into the planet.
But stay alert, the ground is shaking, and something big is coming.
Made with Unity.
It is certainly the game which allowed me to experiment the greatest number of software and techniques during its production.
I had the chance to work on every fields, whether it was on programming, 3D modeling and scriptwriting.
My main objective was to create something alive that the player could explore and understand.
I analysed and learned how some known animal species were made of and used them to create unknow hybrids.
This approch allowed me to deepen my drawing techniques and tried the whole 3D process.
At this point, I wanted to experiment brandnew techniques.
I tried to create a deer in 3D and make it move. Experiment textures and grounds with Substance. I also made smoke and meteorite with SFX graph and elaborated strange plants with the Shader Graph ( both with unity ).
I would create a world out of the player movement area. Create quests that have an impact on the universe. The character is just a mercenary, an harvester, who give ressources, takes back money and goes his own way.
For this plot, I created 4 factions, with different values, languages and rites.
I became increasingly interested in narrative design.
