Cost

Each year a fee is paid to the National organization. This primarily covers insurance for our activities. The current fee is $85.

Each quarter, a $35 is paid to help with the cost of merit badges, equipment upkeep, and other incidental costs

Each year, one or more Summer Camps may be attended. Camps vary in price, but will generally run about $400. 

These funds don't need to come out of your pocket. Your Scout will Fundraise to cover costs. Fundraisers are performed at different times of the year. It is fairly common for Scouts to not need to pay for Summer Camp or Dues after the year's fundraising. Particularly motivated Scouts have attended multiple Summer Camps in one year without needing to pay anything to the Troop.

Successful Popcorn storefront sales can earn this in 3-4 two hour shifts.
