Cub Scout Pack 359 offers year-round fun and adventure while building life skills for all children in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Cub Scouting is fun for the whole family. In Scouting, boys and girls start with their best right now selves and grow into their very best future selves.
Pack 359 plans at least one activity per month for the whole group to enjoy. From overnight pack trips to small local parks, camping in a tent to building a pinewood derby car, trying new things and playing games to exploring STEM, there’s truly something for everyone to do and enjoy in Cub Scouts. Bring the whole family to participate in activities with you!
During the summer, things slow a little bit, but we plan a few activities.
In accordance with Safe Child practices, we do not publicly post our meeting locations. If you would like to join us for a meeting (or 3), please email Anna Muhm, Cub Master at cubmastermo359@gmail.com
Cub Scouting is fun for the whole family. In Scouting, children start with their best right now selves and grow into their very best future selves.
But we also understand. Kids today are pulled in many different directions and it's hard make things work. Siblings of Cub Scouts (young or old) are always welcome to join us for activities. They even have their own Den - the Dragons (because they get dragged along).
Cub Scouts are at that magical age where everything is new and possible and, most important, fun! They build things. Play with purpose. Make friends and work together. The life lessons learned here not only transform today’s Cub Scouts into tomorrow’s Scouts BSA members but also help form a foundation to embrace opportunity and overcome life's obstacles.
It’s fun, hands-on learning and achievement that puts kids in the middle of the action and prepares them for today – and for life.
Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 359, serving families in and around Marthasville, Dutzow, and Augusta, Missouri since 1990!
Although Scouting was started in 1908 by Englishman Robert Baden-Powell, it didn't cross the Atlantic Ocean until two years later. One foggy night in London, an American journalist and entrepenuer got lost. An unknown Scout came to his aid and planted the seeds of Scouting in the US. W. D. Boyce took the idea back home and founded the Boy Scouts of America focused on younger teenagers. It wasn't until 1930 that a dedicated program for elementary school aged boys developed.
Now Cub Scouts can be found throughout the United States and welcomes boys and girls of all abilities and background to participate. The program underwent a major update in 2024 and continues to evolve.
