Development and Experiment of a Robot for Intracranial Ultrasound
A robot for the intracranial echography on incubated newborns is being designed in the lab. But the mounting remains uncomplete. The objective is to complete the fabrication of this robot, to perform experiments on the prototype and to propose improvement to the design.
Requirements:
The student will be expected to be present in the lab to work as much as possible. A professional attitude will be expected along with the following characteristics:
Good level in English
Good practical skill: mechanics and electronics
Good CAD skill: Solidworks
Ability to write technical report
Ability to work autonomously
Resources:
The student will be given a seat in the lab and will be granted access to the following:
Desktop and/or laptop computer
Robotic prototype
Motion capture system if necessary
Any necessary instrument, equipment or tool available in the lab
Any necessary instrument, equipment or tool to purchase
