Why is Exercise Important for the Elderly?
As we get older, we start believing that our body needs more rest, and soon we actually start living a lifestyle of being completely inactive when it comes to fitness. Scientifically, even gravity is always working against our bodies, constantly keeping us down, and with continuous sitting and low levels of movement, gravity ends up compressing our spines and causes us to have a bad posture.
Are People of Age Capable of Exercising?
This is a question that many people have because it is believed that elder people need not stay active, although this is wrong. Elders are a hundred percent capable of exercising. Of course, once they initially start or exercise after many years it will be tough, but with the right trainer and the right pace, it becomes one of the best ways to keep your body healthy as you age.
