Improving Forward Visibility

For those who run their boat from the lower helm station, and have the optional pulpit, the removal of those four, vertical posts at the bow improves forward visibility considerably. The horizontal forward railing, which splits on each side near the bow, was replaced with a simple “U-shaped” section. Rigidity of the railing is not a problem, even without the posts. The improved visibility if just the thing for avoiding those crab pot minefields we have to deal with on the Chesapeake Bay!
