Miguel Montero Escobedo
Neuroscience MSc student
Miguel is a master student of the MSc in neuroscience at University of Barcelona, currently joining PENLab for his master thesis. He graduated in Psychology in July 2022, obtaining in his last year a national competitive studentship to investigate in the field of neuropsychology. His research interests focus on the understanding of the relationship between brain correlates measured through neuroimaging techniques, and cognitive and behavioral aspects, especially framed in mental disorders. His current research comprises the underlying self-identity aspects in juvenile fibromyalgia and how they relate to the brain functional activity while processing linguistic self-related information.
