Her prenatal classes were both informative and reassuring. She gave us clear and documented information which helped us make our own decisions as well as be better prepared for the birth and post-partum period.
Marie was there throughout the whole labor and delivery and her presence made a tremendous difference. Having her talk us through what was happening was so reassuring. She helped so much with finding comfortable positions, pressure points, massages, essential oils but also with her positive attitude and encouragements.
Her post-partum visits were a blessing. So much so that I asked her for extra visits. She advised me on breastfeeding and caring for the baby while also helping me through my recovery both physically and psychologically. She even kept checking on me long after her visits.
Marie is a great listener. She is kind, patient and passionate about what she does. We feel so lucky to have had her accompany us during this delicate transition into parenthood.

Marie was the positive, encouraging, nurturing, and supportive presence I needed during the delivery of my third baby. I had not worked with a doula in my previous two pregnancies and the difference was clear. The last delivery was so much more peaceful and intentional. Despite being a physician myself, I felt better informed about labor and delivery going into the process and more prepared to make decisions. And as a physician, I appreciated her evidence-based approach. But the real gem is Marie herself, who is clearly passionate about what she does and who made every effort to make sure I felt as comfortable and relaxed as possible during labor. She uses a combination of massage, pressure, essential oils, affirmations, and her profound knowledge about childbirth to turn a potentially stressful experience into a beautiful and miraculous one. When I had my first baby, as an expat I felt alone, overwhelmed by emotions and totally overtaken by the logistics. When I found out I was expecting my second child, I immediately contacted Marie to help me in the first weeks postpartum. Her kindness, her listening skills and her massages (ah! her massages!) really helped me get through that critical first month. She never judged me and always supported me in all the choices I made, which is fundamental at this time when moms are so vulnerable. We feel free to ask her our questions to which she brings information and answers with commitment, interest and pleasure. She knows how to inform, explain and reassure. Her sessions are complete and ideally individualized even carried out by Skype during the Covid-19 stay-at-home period.
