Short stories are excellent educational resources that can meet many purposes. It serves a remarkable change in the conjunction of classroom pedagogy and discussion wherein it captures the students' interest. For some, it can be very rewarding helping students' reading comprehension leading into a worthwhile activity.
Hence, Mariano Ponce Elementary School Teachers developed their own literary works as they believe it is essential tool to meet students' needs for developing reading skills. Combine with teaching expertise, a technical know-how and creativity sums up their writing prowess bringing out motivational benefits such as improving students' communicative competencies, imagination, critical thinking skills and appreciation as compared to all other literary genres.
