We wanted to get the most points for every second of the robots time. Our robot couldn't do some tasks because its arm motors were not strong enough. We thought about switching arms, but that meant we'd lose time and twenty points during the equipment check. Finally, we picked a plan where everyone could help code a few missions, and we made sure to use the robot's sensors as much as possible.
We picked a mission model that looks like a cool piece of art with a LegoBlade design. We tried a bunch of different designs before settling on this one. We noticed that the tall and light models fell over a lot.
So, our model is short and wide. It spreads out its weight over a bigger space, which makes it feel more steady. We think it's less likely to tip over when we're doing missions.
