Each Mandan FCCLA member has a certain amount of points, which are gained by participation in chapter activities such as meetings, fundraisers, or organizing events. To protect member confidentiality, each member will have an emoji label. Members, please check-in with an adviser to confirm your emoji label.
The points are used to determine priority for which members may attend events like District Competitions and the State Leadership Conference. To keep track of these events, look at the FCCLA Calendar. Points are also a piece of eligibility to attend the National Leadership Conference if members do not qualify in a STAR event, but still want to compete in a Skill Event or Challenge Test.
Points alone do not determine who may attend the National Leadership Conference with Mandan High FCCLA. The Mandan High FCS Advisory Committee will decide who may attend Nationals based on open slots using points and the member's application. For more information on how you can make the most out of FCCLA and attend NLC, please reach out to an Adviser.
These points are kept track of by the Vice President of Membership under the supervision of the Chapter Adviser via a sign-in sheet at each meeting, participation status and SportsYou RSVPs.
If you're a member and want to keep track of your points, view the above spreadsheet.
