Man United welcome 3 players back from injury

3 Man United players are preparing to return from injury before the Premier League restarts after the 2022 World Cup.

According to the Manchester Evening News, centre-back Axel Tuanzebe is undergoing rehabilitation at the club's Carrington training ground during the World Cup. The 25-year-old hasn't played since Erik ten Hag arrived in the summer and has yet to impress his new manager after two disappointing loan spells last season at Aston Villa and Napoli.

Tuanzebe is coming back.

Another player coming back from a knee injury is Tom Heaton. The goalkeeper could travel to Spain next week for warm-weather training alongside David de Gea and Martin Dubravka.

And finally, Brandon Williams also recovered to follow the whole team to Spain. The full-back has been sidelined since July and could act as a backup for Diogo Dalot at right-back later in the season. Undeniably he has a much more impressive attack power than Aaron Wan-Bissaka and can be trusted by Ten Hag.

Man United's first post-World Cup game is against Burnley in the League Cup on December 21. At this point, Christian Eriksen's Denmark has been ruled out and the midfielder will get the much-needed rest.
