The lights of Monte San Bartolo

The gaze is absorbed first of all by the play of colors. The paint is deposited in glaze and thickness. The canvas becomes a ground of conquest. The material is built little by little. Thus the white canvas is worked first of all in all freedom. The gestures are spontaneous and follow rhythms of more or less rapid cadences. The goal is to find the same impression when one is seized by the light of Monte San Bartolo.
