The lights of Monte San Bartolo
The views over the sea give a feeling of freedom. The effect is immediately perceptible when you look at the horizon because the line that delimits the sea from the sky disappears. The colors merge and our attention is focused on the light. It dominates the landscape. The sun shimmers on the sea and diffuses on the greens of Monte San Bartolo. From above, we notice that its cliffs blend perfectly with the sea shore and form a unique setting in shapes and colors. There is no break. The perception of infinity is completed by the view of the hills. In this new series, to better render this feeling of vertigo, the horizon is left behind. It is the light that will guide the viewer to continue his way on the canvas.
