Nocturnes

The subject of nocturnal landscapes plunges me into my imagination and the distant celestial world. This series is the most oniric, the starlight of the night invites me to dive in my dreams and adopt an intuitive approach. I explore new landscapes and my colour palettes are inspired by the boreal nights. I paint my landscapes at night when human activity is silent. Like a gymnast, I walk on a thin wire between reality and imagination.  I follow my impulses and my pictorial expression blossoms in free interpretation. I confront the four human dimensions (physical, mental, social and spiritual) with the celestial immensity: what is the mystery of life?
