In the garden... "Painting in my garden of olive trees with a view of cypresses and vast fields, elevates me spiritually. I am closer to the child that I was. I pose in front of the canvas in the disposition of a curious child who is thirsty for new adventures. The landscape is a starting point of wonder. I like to paint in my garden because nothing is static. I like nature, its strength, its unpredictable changes and its perfumes."

Malgorzata Suplewska's painting deals with the relationship between visible and perceptible. This relationship takes simple and fluid forms. Her enthusiasm and osmosis with nature are reflected in a palette of bright colors and quick gestures. Capturing a nascent vision is more important to her than finding the faithful representation of the motif. In her paintings she seeks to transmit to us the simplest sensations for the pleasure of being, of escaping and rising in our thoughts.
