Proposals - Proposed Masterplan
The project has been a chance to test some ‘big ideas’ around what would make Saltash a more attractive place in which to live, work and visit. The creation of a ‘draw’ is essential as is the need to create easily accessible modes of transport from Saltash Waterside to the town.
The ideas set out on this website are all subject to future funding but in the short term we wanted to ensure that stakeholders and the public are behind us!

Waterside connectivity and development opportunities
Tamar Street is a key location which once defined Saltash
Existing waterside is a shadow of its former density and activity
There are several prime sites which might be unlocked
Existing uses may be better served elsewhere
Perhaps revive masterplan ambitions for this area?
