This year's expo will allow the community to take part in all of the STEM Programs at Mahtomedi High School as well as observe presentations and showcases by the various clubs and teams at Mahtomedi. This night of fun, innovation, and learning is open to all members of the community interested in partaking in the STEM activities in Mahtomedi!

Each year, Rocket Club competes in the The American Rocketry Challenge (TARC) where student groups design, build, and fly model rockets trying to meet the contest requirements.
The RWDC (Real World Design Challenge) is an annual competition that provides students the opportunity to develop solutions to real world engineering challenges.
The Robotics team works for 3 months to build a robot that can complete a challenge and compete against other teams in the FIRST Robotics Competition.
Engineering 1, 2, and 3 are classes available at the high school where students learn about the machines in the fab lab and how to apply the engineering method to the projects they’re working on.
Digital Electronics is a class offered at the high school where students learn about coding and how to apply this knowledge to build their own robots.
Each year, MAPS (Modeling a protein story) Team researches and develops a model of a specific protein to present at the experimental biology conference.
Capstone is the highest level engineering class in which students spend an entire semester developing a complex and unique project
The Math Team takes math tests from the category of their choice, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Pre Calc, and then the participants' scores are used to see where Mahtomedi ranks in the competition.
