Mahtomedi STEM Club is a club at Mahtomedi High School in Mahtomedi, MN. In 2019, Mahtomedi STEM Club was established by Halley Granec and Lucy Ward (class of 2020) and Claire Brings and Sam Lengyel (class of 2021). Under the guidance of club advisor Mr. Bryan Farmer, now under new leadership (Jordan Jonas, Kylee Farmer, Ben Hammond, Bjorn Anderson, and Riley Voosoney). Our club aims to give students opportunities to engage in STEM related activities and spread STEM throughout our community.Â
Each month, STEM club leaders put together an in-school activity for the students in both Mahtomedi High School and Middle School. STEM activities are not just limited to students in Mahtomedi however. STEM club provides tours and information to all community members interested in the STEM programs at Mahtomedi. In addition to all of this, we plan a STEM Expo a year to bring the community together in collaboration with the Mahtomedi FabLab, clubs, associations, and community members.
