A lab that allowed the student to experience proprioception simulated for populations with hearing disabilities, hand arthritis, and individuals with leg amputations.
The data collected above from PASCO shows my balance using a force plate. The graph on the left is when both of my feet were down and the graph on the right is when I was holding a quad stretch with the right foot on the ground. When analyzing the data, the area of the data, which is enclosed around an ellipse was smaller for both feet than one foot. This makes sense because I maintained better balance with both feet on the ground.
