Do I need an account for Turtle Academy?
No. The only requirement to access Turtle Academy is an email address to log into our system just in case we need to contact you.
What if I failed the Turtle Academy training?
If you did not pass the certification quiz for the Turtle Academy training, please retake the training.
What is the password to access the content within each training?
Each training will have a different password. Some will have no password at all. In general, there will be a hint within the training to access the password. If you can not determine the correct password, contact our training manager at turtleacademy271@gmail.com.
How will you use and store my information?
The amount of information you are asked to submit for each training is intentionally small. Your name, email address, and responses to questions will be stored in a results spreadsheet only accessible by Turtle Academy administration. Upon reasonable request to the lodge, your name and email address may be shared with relevant lodge members. For example, if a chapter chief contacts us and asked for those who are certified to conduct unit elections, we would forward that chief your contact information to coordinate election teams. We will never share your data for any purposes not explicitly related to the lodge.
Can I produce a training for Turtle Academy?
We are always looking to expand our lineup of trainings. That being said, Turtle Academy prioritizes content that is important, relevant, and correct that can be communicated by well-informed trainers. An individual may produce a training in one of the two following circumstances:
The individual is invited by the training manager.
The individual attains conditional certification to be a trainer. More information is available here.
