Empower Flow Yoga: This class is based upon the flow sequence developed by Barron Baptiste. Unlike a traditional Baptiste yoga that is fast-paced and heated, this Empower class is taught at a slower pace and scaffolded so participants can learn the poses. Sequences can be modified based upon a persons current strength and flexibility. The class incorporates music to help establish rhythmic movement and breath. Individuals wanting to lose weight, gain strength, or gain confidence will find this class most useful.
Chair Yoga: Chair yoga is designed to allow individuals recovering from injuries or those that have difficulty tranistioning from prone (laying) positions to standing positions to participate in yoga. Chair yoga can also help anyone gain flexibility and strength by providing greater support.
