Two Coins Becoming One

The task for this essay was to identify gender stereotypes and their effects on the way we live today. We were to argue if the stereotypes were necessary in our world or if they should be forgotten. It was interesting to watch and read about the different stereotype experiences and get to learn about their effect on other people. It was difficult to relate personally and argue if they should all be gotten rid of or kept around.

I had strengths and weaknesses in this essay. I was able to address the audience's knowledge level and biases about the claim. I had great wording and linked to major sections of the text. I had an engaging tone and used awesome language. I need to work on being less vague. I need more evidence to back up claims and address my counterclaims more. I need to create more concrete pictures and use more examples.

Writing this argumentative essay helped me to learn more about the challenges and problems men and women face today. I enjoyed becoming more knowledgeable on the subject when I finished revising and writing the assignment.
