This project was a bit different because we went into the woodshop for this design. We were creating little message boxes that when light up with the CPX, reveal different belonging messages. This was the first time in the woodshop actually creating a project for me and I really enjoyed it.
My supplies:
1 block of wood
4 pieces of wood for the legs
2 metal bolts
CPX
Adapter
4 screws
Message lampshade
Since this was my first time in the woodshop, my legs are not fully even which is an area that I struggled in. However, I pursevered through it and got it to look good. On the right you can see the message lampshade that I put around the table once finished.
Below you can see some photos of me in the woodshoip working on drilling the holes, sawing the materail, and clamping down the piece. Clamps were super important to our work because we needed to have both our hands free and having the clamps there made it possible.
The last stage was wrapping and taping the message paper aroudn the block so tha when I hooked up the CPX we can see the messages. Below I have included pithcures of teh code that I used. In the video you can see that when I touich the block, different messages and colors come up.
