My work experience has included lecturing, working in the corporate environment, working in government with policy makers, and local and international collaborations. This exposure allows me a transdisciplinary perspective, ripe for cross pollination of ideas, ways of working, and opening the box to new theories and explanations. The public health system relies on all these avenues to be successful and familiarity with local and international contexts have worked in my favour. I believe that my relationships with students and peers, the grants and awards, and other outputs to date, shows my commitment to learning, advancement, and creating new knowledge.
