East Valley Senior Tennis League (EVSTL)
Janet Chabot
Leisure World, along with 15 other East Valley parks, participates in the EVSTL. Matches against each of the league's teams are scheduled weekly and includes all skill levels. Teams have a captain who organizes practices and matches up playing partners for each week’s play. This year play begins on October 31st and ends March 3rd, with a two week December holiday break. This is a great opportunity to meet and play friends from all of the East Valley communities. Players must choose which option best meets their desired competitive level of play.
There have been many changes and updates concerning guidelines for EVSTL play. Please access EVSTL.net for all of the latest and most complete guidelines. A condensed version of the guidelines may be found on our club website menu.
The purpose of the EVSTL is to provide recreation and fellowship through organized league tennis matches between member clubs. This is a great opportunity to meet and play with friends from all of the East Valley communities.
The friendly competition will help improve one's game and provide lots of fun and enjoyment in the process.

Clubs must field a minimum of three separate teams. Typically, clubs will field teams for men and women at the 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 level and a 75+ league. League play begins the first week of November and ends the first week of March. Each sponsored club team will compete once per week against other EVSTL teams, playing both a home and away match during the season.
