The Tennis Academy is FREE and open to all Leisure World Residents, no membership required. Whether you’re a seasoned player needing to tune-up your strokes, or a beginner ready for a new active lifestyle, our academy is for you.
Program Highlights
Expert Instruction: From beginning fundamentals to advanced skills for levels 1.5 - 3.0 ~ small groups with like abilities makes learning personal and fun
Flexible Schedule: Wednesdays, 1-3 PM, from November 19th through the first week of March. Come every week or drop in when you can.
Loaner Rackets: Available if needed ~ just bring water and a smile!
Guaranteed Fun: Enjoy special events, refreshments, and friendly social time on the pavilion.

Improve Your Play ~ Push Your Potential
Register for small group lessons led by visiting pro Ray Kheshvadjian, known for his high-energy coaching and motivating feedback. His enthusiasm will motivate you to learn, try harder, have fun, and achieve more success in your matches.
What You’ll Learn
Improve strokes ~ power, spin, placement, and consistency
Doubles Strategy ~ play more aggressively and win more points
Purposeful Hitting ~ where do I hit and why
High Intensity Drills ~ match preparation using live feed or ball machine
Small Groups ~ 6-8 players matched with like ability
Mastering the Mental Game ~ building confidence, consistency, & focus

Format ~ 1 hour lesson held once per week for 6 weeks
Seasons ~ Fall and Spring
Cost ~ $90 per session
