Historical makeup

This section covers makeup that is based on specific time periods and locations. The goal for these makeup designs was to make them as accurate as possible with respect to history, class, gender, and culture.

My interpretation of 1980s American makeup, with a look that was inspired by hair bands and rockstars of the era. This was presented to my makeup professor as part of a project.

1980's America

After doing my research, I started designing the makeup by creating a color drawing using a photo of my face as a template. After the drawing was finished, I used it as referencing when applying to my face. The main features of 80s makeup were the bold colors and a very 'unisex' look towards it.
