Selected for the Stoke-on-clay Open Exhibition.
Inspired by the Welsh Glamorgan Heritage Coastline, through on-location sketching & photography, a collection titled: Coastal Ambience was created.
Linear coastal pathways/rock facia & driftwood spelt have been captured within the porcelain vessels. through various ceramic techniques including neriage (throwing with different coloured clays) and sandblasting/etching.
The collection consists of ceramic vessels, in wheel-thrown porcelain and wood-turned lids to support found driftwood.
